The Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari-directed Ishq Vishk Rebound didn’t do well at the box office when it first came out. The modern-day rom-com made a little over Rs 1 crore nett on Saturday, according to Sacnilk.com. From the Ishq Vishk franchise comes Ishq Vishk Rebound. On its first day, Rohit Saraf starrer made around Rs 1 crore in India; on the second day, it made about Rs 1.15 crore. Ishq Vishk Rebound has made Rs 2.15 crore in its first two days of sales. On Friday, the total Hindi occupancy rate was 16.82 per cent.

Ishq Vishq Rebound, the Gen Z version of Shahid Kapoor’s debut film which stars Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal in the lead, released in cinemas this Friday. All the four young actors of the film promoted it quite aggressively for over a month but that hasn’t translated at the box office. It is yet to be seen if the film picks up over the weekend as there are fewer Hindi films in theatres at the moment. The film might face some competition from last week’s Chandu Champion.

Ishq Vishq Rebound witnessed an overall occupancy of 15.37 percent on the day of its debut, with most people catching the night shows. In Mumbai, where there were 276 shows, the occupancy was 18.75 percent, and in Delhi-NCR there were 324 shows with 15 percent occupancy.
